New Item 2012 Hagstrom

Number 115. This one is actually a guitar I bought about 1976-79 and just had it and in a early mode in about 1982 I did start to get rid of all perloid and sissy things.. ( since that was a ugly thing I tought then....well, I´m a idiot sometimes...) I did left it in the house we lived in that time,a house that was bought by a friend to us,Johan,and this summer, about 30 years later I finally visit the house to see what happened there,and he was at home and it was a great reunion talk for some hours. Just when I was to leave he mentioned that I had a guitar still there, I could not really remind me that I had, but he insisted and after a while he walks out with this Hagström and I recall everything, but it was stripped down in the bones and been laying pushed away all this time.I had it back and just get in the mood to make a art guitar of it. Struggling to get orginal parts ( and did get info that I had wrecked a 1959-60 model that has a solid body, not the later standard´s that was hollow), finally I could put on the Absolut bar that evening..., a heroic work by Anders Thidell to the last minute made it....I just love this one, and its actually sounds great!

The lounge vernissage, a absolute evening....

A very nice evening at Atelier, absolut company lounge in a old bank house, fantastic interior and design.This was a invitation only evening with guests.10 guitars was exposed and also the latest Hagström guitar, a guitar I have owned since about 1974 and was almost forgotten, but now it´s back in re-designed shape.

New items 2012

New Items coming up 2012, will be exposed on my next exhibition soon. The guitars are fitted with TrueTemperament frets and fitted with vintage parts of course, custom pickguard in steel, made in love, all of them.

Exibithions 2012

SUMMER GALLERY and opening at 1/7 at the fantastic great and cool new gallery at the ship EGIL, placed at Liljeholmen, close to the south side of Liljeholms bridge. The owner is a great guy and are showing his own works there as well! Open from 15.00 to late hopefully. Very welcome to see some of my stuff and also very great stuff from some other artists like Johan Ström etc. .

I had a stand in the Fuzz Guitar show, held at Eriksbergshallen Gothenburg at 5-6 may. Included some guitars from my new colleague and artist Jesper Eriksson that carvs into the wood by hand, really nice and in his own style.

Hopefully a art exibithion inside this guitar oriented show will make some people curios about other things then mass produced stuff is to be seen there. I don´t expect that anyone will purchase on the show , but like to show that guitars also can be art at the same time as a instrument. Giving the very special to a special guitarist and artist at the same time.

Vernissage / Exibithions 2011

Opening of my own gallery, located in Liljeholmen Stockholm 15/6 2011, also combined with a photo exibithion with Joseph P Lutz, a alter ego of a great guy.
